Launch Day in Lincoln

It was brilliant to spend the 9th May, launch day for PATH OF NEEDLES, at Lincoln Inspired. It’s a terrific festival with a real range of content – vibrant, fun and definitely inspirational! A big thank you to the lovely organisers Sara and Gill, fellow panelists Elly Griffiths and David Mark, and the really friendly people who came along to the Quercus event!

Here are some pics from the day:

Hot off the press – shiny new books! And hopefully someone about to buy one . . . 😉

Having a good chat with Elly. Not quite sure where our hands got to . . .

Nervous, me?!

RAAAAAARRRRR!!! Is, erm, probably not what I’m saying. Kind of looks like it, though.

Around the festival: saying ‘hi’ to the local dalek.

Erm, has anyone noticed there are faces in the walls around here? There definitely are . . .

See? More of them.

And they’re watching us.

Now for a walk around Lincoln . . .

It really was.

Ah . . . needed that. Wonder what happened to that apostrophe though?

Well worth it for the view.

All this plus a book haul – my kind of day. Books by Elly, David and William Hussey, from an event next door.

So that’s it for this year . . . roll on Lincoln Inspired 2014!
