Short Story Update
January 12, 2026
Some lovely author copies came in over the festive season . . . Here’s a sneak peek!

Remains 3
Remains 3 magazine, edited by Andy Cox, features my story, Elmer’s Bottle Tree Ranch.
It’s set in the eponymous roadside attraction on Route 66, somewhere I was lucky enough to visit a few years ago. I took plenty of photographs while I was there and artist Richard Wagner did a fantastic job of incorporating them in his work.
Available direct from the publisher.
All of them Witches
My story The Curse Cabinet is in All of them Witches, a stunning, fully illustrated hardback production from Nepenthe Press.
The Curse Cabinet was inspired by a visit to Boscastle’s Museum of Witchcraft, which got me thinking about collections of objects designed for ill-intent . . .
This anthology is a real thing of beauty. Available in various editions direct from Nepenthe.
White Noise Press – the Chapbooks
Some may remember the White Noise series of chapbooks – each individually designed, illustrated and handmade by Keith Minion. If you missed them, you may be interested to hear that all the stories are now available in this anthology, along with new story notes written for this edition.
It includes my tale The Winter Tree, along with stories from Richard Chizmar, Gary McMahon, Brian Keene, Elizabeth Massie and many more.
Available now from Amazon.
